Wayne Casino chips were one of the many fan favorite items from this past convention season, they served as a tie – in to DC Comics‘ Flashpoint storyline where Thomas Wayne (Bruce’s father) was Batman and his “day job” was owner/operator of Wayne Casino. The chips were giveaways at DC‘s booth first at SDCC, then subsequent shows thereafter, to fans who answered trivia questions correctly.
The chips will be available to comic book retailers who order Flahpoint promo pins to accompany the six Flashpoint trade paperbacks for February. If they buy one bag each of the Flashpoint pins, they’ll get a free set of Wayne Casino $1, $5, $10, $20 and $50 chips. If they order two bags of each Flashpoint pins, then they’ll get two free sets, and one $100 chip. DC Comics is also giving away Flashpoint pin special promo displays to the first 250 retailers who order them.
