If you’re a fan of comic book series this news should come as no shock. Actually, if you watched the most recent episode of the TV series there was a blatant foreshadowing about one of the cast member’s fate.
Earlier, AMC posted a solicitation to preorder The Walking Dead Season II blu – ray box set. Harmless, right? Except the description for the special features reads: ” … bonus features such as: the making of the barn, an extended zombie gut scene, Shane’s last episode …”.
As we all know there have been a few liberties taken as the TV show does tend to stray a little from the comic book. So I think the real mystery here will be how will it happen. In the comics Shane gets shot in the neck by Carl when he’s trying to protect his father Rick.
Obviously the stage has been set for Shane and Rick to continue battling for the role of leader of the survivors in the show. Could this power struggle lead to an argument like in the comics? Or will Shane fall victim to a zombie attack? Let me know your thoughts in the comments section below.
