It seems Lady Death has been busy since we have last seen her. In this preview, we learn 20 years has past, and that our heroine has cut a swathe across the hellscape. But at this point, as the cover suggests, there are spoilers you will need to read at your own risk!
Brian Pulido has carefully crafted a tightly knit world in this book. Full of danger, color, beauty….and death. His stories have always been full of fun and imagination. It looks like that continues to be the case with Damnation Game. This looks to be a great jumping on point for new readers as well as us old schoolers to get reacquainted with our Lady.
From the looks of it, Lady Death: Damnation Game’s art team is bringing tha’ noise! Dheeraj’s details are well paid attention to. So much is going on in these panels, I can’t even begin to describe how cool that “whatever that is” that’s about to destroy that train is! And even though this is currently in black and white, I’m positive that Paolo’s colors will bring all this to life (pun intended).
I, for one, am excited to see Lady Death’s return to form. It is a fresh breath of air in today’s comics landscape. Go ahead and share this around. This will be a fantastic read. And I, for one again, feel lucky to be a part of this, just as you will be as well.
