Marvel Comics #1000 Boasts Legendary Talent

Marvel, via New York Times, has revealed plans for the 1,000th issue of Marvel Comics, a 80-page one-shot. The comic celebrates the 80th anniversary of Marvel Comics #1 hitting the stands.

“This is by far the most complex and complicated and difficult book I’ve ever had to assemble,” Marvel’s executive editor Tom Brevoor told NYT.

The main cover is painted by Alex Ross as well as the star-studded roaster of comic book creators:
